The McGill Investment Club is excited to announce the club’s Second Annual Toronto Finance Convention (TOFC). This two day event, to be held Thursday November 5th and Friday November 6th, will bring 65 of the best and brightest students at McGill University to the heart of Toronto’s financial district. We would like to request your participation in making this convention a resounding success.

The primary purpose of the convention will be to expose a group of talented future leaders to the various financial careers available. It will also be an excellent opportunity for students to meet some of the brightest minds on Bay Street and learn more about working and living in Toronto. This experience will be invaluable for all participants, greatly benefiting the students in their efforts to secure both summer and full-time placements in 2010.

The convention will provide your firm with excellent exposure to energetic, ambitious students who wish to learn more about your firm and possible career paths. As one of the top financial institutions, students would greatly appreciate and benefit from any activity you can arrange, be it to open your doors for our Toronto Banking Tour, provide professionals from any level to lead a workshop, or develop an alternative to best align the benefits to your organization with the student experience.

The inaugural Toronto Finance Convention was a great success, celebrated by both professionals and McGill students. We aim to reach even higher this year by introducing additional learning and networking opportunities.
